Luxaflex has been in business for over 70 years. First launched by Henry Sonnenberg and Joe Hunter, it was then known as the Hunter Douglas Machinery Corporation. Henry and Joe developed innovative production processes and casting for lightweight aluminium. They planned something new for the industry that would change window coverings forever – aluminium Venetian blinds.
